Consultation opens on Priority Products for Safer Products for Washington

The consultation paper identifies the following products which are known to contain hazardous substances identified in 70.365 RCW.

| PFAS | Aftermarket carpet treatments |
| Phenolic compounds | Food cans (bisphenols) |
| Phenolic compounds | Laundry detergent (alkylphenol ethoxylates) |
| Phenolic compounds | Thermal paper (bisphenols) |
| Phthalates | Vinyl flooring |
| Phthalates | Fragrances in personal care and beauty products |
Interested parties are invited to submit comments by 2 March 2020.
