Consultation opens on RoHS substance review

The substances to be assessed are:
- Indium phosphide
- Beryllium and its compounds
- Nickel sulphate and nickel sulfamate
- Cobalt dichloride and cobalt sulphate
A consultation on the remaining three substances is expected to be launched in the fourth quarter of 2019.
The consultation also requests comments on the revised substance inventory for the purpose of updating it as well as to determine substances to be subjected to the prioritization review.
The consultation closes on 7 November 2019.
