ECHA to provide database of SVHCs in articles

Companies producing, importing or distributing articles containing substances on the Candidate List will be required to submit information to the database by the end of 2020.
The purpose of the database is to facilitate the safe treatment and recycling of waste and help consumers
make informed choices on the products they purchase.
This action is part of the EU’s waste legislation package, contributing to the EU's circular economy policy.
