EU enforcement project targets online sales

29 member states will participate in the project, which will run until 31 December 2020.
Inspectors will check product advertisements and purchase and analyse products to verify whether buyers are informed about the existence of hazardous substances. They may also carry out on-site inspections.
The results of the project are expected to be published at the end of 2021.
