UK Office for Product Safety and Standards publishes enforcement report

13 companies were subject to enforcement action for failure to implement measures to ensure that timber used in their products was not illegally harvested. Eleven of these companies subsequently complied and only two were prosecuted.
Angora Ltd (trading as Lombok) was fined £5,000 and Hardwood Dimensions (Holdings) Ltd was fined £4,000. Both companies also had to pay a victim surcharge and prosecution costs.
